At a museum show in 1971, I walked up to a large painting by an artist whose name I have forgotten. In the artist statement mounted alongside, I read...."I am a painter of circles."  Being very impressed by the simple beauty of this statement, I thought.... "someday I too shall be a painter of circles"   -DP
